One of the greatest benefits of certain insurances, like Medicaid, is that they are allowing babies to be seen as early as six month old.
That gives us a chance to jump in there and go over things that are going to help your child grow up cavity free. Six months is a great time to talk about parents concerns like teething, timing, what to expect when teeth break and any kind of “firsts” questions parents have regarding oral health. It’s also great for your baby to meet us and get comfortable in the office.
For patients with Medicaid, they will cover visits every three months so we really get to know your child very well over those first three years.
If you think your little one might have some first time nerves, learn what to expect in your first visit and tips to overcome dental anxiety.
