Dr. Lela Farmer

Dr. Lela Farmer is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She is a North Carolina native who first moved to Texas in 2006 to attend Rice University. After graduating, she attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2014.

She completed her pediatric residency training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, focusing on sedation and treating all children, including those with complex medical conditions and special healthcare needs. While at UT, she earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry degree for her research on children’s behavior.

She is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and College of Diplomates. When Dr. Farmer is not in the office, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, watching basketball (Go Tar Heels! Go Spurs!), eating great food, and taking in everything San Antonio has to offer.
